The story was very cathartic but also terrifying. The art is so good. Looking forward to Chapter 2
I’ve waited so long to buy this. I was so excited when I found a video telling of a graphic novel written by a Black woman known for their legendary chops in horror who also self illustrated it as well! I was so drawn in by the story and artwork which was described and shown first.
I wanted to show my support and of course get my hands on a physical copy. That cover is so striking so I was adamant. I loved all the extras included ^u^ and the way everything was wrapped and packaged. Absolutely no issues with it arriving <3 I’m also so happy it’s a soft cover as I’m not a fan of hard covers much of the time <3
My only note, because everything else is splendid, I wish the cover didn’t have a sticker printed as part of it. I know this has become a more common thing lately but I like to be able to remove them. It covers up a portion of the art and that’s a big bummer.
I used to keep a lot of the stickers. And often put them on the inside of the front cover of the books they came with, or on any surfaces I use or look at like electronics, a wall, dresser, etc. It really bothers me actually that I can’t take it off.
